So far in the leaving week

Chem down, One Bio down. None of the maths is down.

I didn't manage to say goodbye and wtv to Brigger (Chem) coz I din't realise I won't have him anymore coz I'll have an exam on Friday, which is supposedly the last time we'll see him

Conway (Chem) said well done to all of us, one by one. Some boy said, we have you for three years Sir. awww, that's so emotional. One guy said he had tears in his eyes.

Si darwin down yes!! Finally I could get rid of his sarcasm, which ironically I don't want to. He's just so fun. The first and last time he said something good abt us: Right folks, this is our last lesson. I hope you have enjoyed having me, and I certainly have. If you don't get your grades in the exam, I'LL BE BACK to whichever universities you are going. And ask what's wrong.

Lol, cali ehh ia.

I'll have my last lesson with morgan, twelly and armstrong tomorrow. Bio, mechanics and statistics respectively. Champagne in morgan's class!! If someone is gonna bring it.

Biochem

What's annoying abt Biochem in uni is there is no one textbook that you need for your entire course. I have received a recommended book list from Oxford. Three textbooks of different expertise: Biochemistry, Molecular Cell Biology, Biophysics.

Why can't someone just compile all these three courses/modules into one damn textbook specifically for people like us so I could just buy it? Like medicine course, there is one anatomy textbook which covers nearly evrything, maybe. Then you just need to find others as references.
I now have a 30 pounds voucher so I'm seriously wondering which book I should buy.
The biochem textbook lawa!!!
p/s apparently u cant click to look inside. lol.

Return to a Maths geek

After one retake, my mark for A level Maths is 599. My aim for A level Further Maths is 600!

Let me explain what I feel for the following marks in all modules.
80+ - Unforgivable and that will nvr happen.
90-94 - pissed off
95- alryt
96-97 - not bad...
98-99 - happy but angry at the same time
100- that's what I want solely. n yes, I'll b happy.

Well, if I avoid stupid mistakes, the only modules that will hinder my great aim is S2 I will say. Coz sometimes the questions are just being stupid and hard to comprehend.

FP2 and FP3 are of course the horrifying ones, but by just getting 68/75, u can actually obtain 100UMS, which is fairly, sort-of easy.

I just need to do my pyp to increase my speed and accuracy and here I come, f*ing 600! I'm so gonna nail you down further maths, to redeem what I got in (normal) maths.

p/s in the end, too prasan and get 480. baie, touchwood brabis brabis.

Leaving Week

Apparently everyone has been emotional over the leavers bla3 at blog and facebook. One more week to go for us Salopians. It's not really a big deal for me, though I have to admit that I will feel more sad to leave Shrewsbury School than MS. A 'second it' to Rue, who wrote the same thing.

I usually mixed arnd with Bruneians only, and made just a few really close non-bruneian friends. The british here are sort of proud. Only dayboys and those who belong to my house will actually open up to me. The theory that we came up with is the rich ones r too proud and cant be bothered to mix arnd with us asians.

And as they have been friends since ages ago, I don't mean since third form, since prep school I mean coz nearly evry1 here came from this or that prep school. I could even name all of them coz it's just so common that we even had a chapel service for them with their parents and headmaster as special guests, so... it's quite hard to get into their group. I have bruneians group, so y should I bother to cause troubles to myself to suit into a strong group who have such different culture anyway.

Another second it to rue again for saying 'I would like to be part of the school since third form' or words of such effect. That's very true. I think over these two years, I have actually become smarter. I felt that I was exposed more to the real world of whatever I was learning: Bio, Chem, Maths, Music (piano). Freed from the syllabus, and reading stuffs which are not confined in the syllabus here, though still in the syllabus of CIE.

Before I came here, I didn't listen to classical music and watch videos of concerts at all. It's quite a shocker for me to actually accomplish grade 7 back in brunei. I just felt so dumb here, like I didnt know this and that famous piece, the history behind that composer, what's in the minds of the composer when he was composing that music.

I used to think that music is all about the scores; the score is absolute. I could only do rubato when the score said so. The truth is score is merely a guidance for notes, and it's left to the interpretation of the player to express the music. By listening to the musicians who have played the piece then helps us to shape our interpretation so it doesn't go too far off what the composer had intended to. That's my thoughts now.

I dunno why my post leads to this. I saw a few pic in fb abt some stuffs that ppl did in their last high school week. Lol, that will surely not happen here. The ppl here seriously hate camera. They will actually get damn pissed off if you try to take a photograph of them. Thus, I have a very few photos with them. The exception is when they are drinking.

There are few interesting things going on. My friends aim to shit in the toilets in all buildings during the summer term. I believe they have achieved that long ago.

Uni in a few mths time. Wtv tia. Fate will lead my way so I'm not going to think much.

Two mocks going on 2moro: FP3 and Biology Synoptic Paper. pfffffttttt. An annoying reminder that high school is not over yet.

Music ppl

My school has hosted a conference attended by all heads of music in the country, including all those famous schools. At least that's what I heard. That's awesome!!!! BRABIS X (infinity).

Those great musicians (I won't go that far to say top) then listened to the Darwin Cantata, which is like a musical composed and played by our students. Jealous ku brabis.

But but but, when I was practicing, our Head of Music was coincidentally showing a few of them around, so yea, I was so happy. Like shit, they heard what I played. I played Chopin's Etude Op10 No.3. The Head of Music in my school then opened my door, thinking I was another guy who knows how to play that piece and was going to play flute for them soon after. But still, hahahhahaha.

Antah mcm gila sudah aku. Wtv. Aku jeles that guy coz he is a fourth form but he has obtained a distinction in grade 8 flute just recently and passed the grade 7 piano two years ago. Fucking talented. And ia cali. Ia hongkie. And he looks and acts like my cuz.

6/5

Hell boring. Seriously I'm bored to core. I'm using the language in the book The Painted Man. Shyt, that's like the bestest ever book I've ever read. Usually when I'm tired, I'll just hold my fatigue then I stop when I reach the next chapter. However, when I was reading it, I was hoping it'll never end, so I could just continue reading. I like it so much coz in short, it contains all the genre that I adore so much.

I really hope that it'll never be made into a movie because no one can produce something as good as the book. Thanks to someone named Azim for lending me the book.

Anyway, back to topic, I'm bored. Lol, it's not really a topic, but I'm just so bored. I have been surfing net since ages ago, and it's still the usual websites. Blogs, fb, msn news, youtube.

I dont wanna dl anything because my bandwidth will finish pretty soon. lol. I wanna stream anime but I duno which to choose then I forgot. Don't ask me why. I think deep inside, I hate streaming. And the 3 connection nowdays sucks like hell. Useless.

AKU GILA BOSAN BRABIS.
