23/2

Happy birthday to my country Negara Brunei Darussalam. I have to confess that I totally forget that it is National Day, till I saw chern's pm in msn. What a shame!

So... what's going on here on this special date? Damn sleepy. Adri walked past my Maths classroom and saw evry1 mcm kan mati, except Philipp of course. During lunch, there was a rather spectacular event: Matrons' Meeting and Matrons' Win Lunch Challenge.

'Mubin is having a fever,' said Mubin's matron.
'AGAIN!?' Other matrons shrieked in unison.
Bla3...
'You know, that person's underwear is so dirty and his room stinks for god's sake...'

This converation if purely fiction. lol, coz mubin thought that it was real and got so pissed off. And, I didn't mean you anyway when i typed 'that person'.

They sat at one table for so long. Two down halfway during the Challenge, however, the rest didn't give up. I didn't know what happened then, coz we left.

F YOU KUAT TANGAN! For the same reason.

Bio is so damn boring but it's partly the fault of the syllabus. I mean si tutor adri n mubin punya lesson. Though I agree with Azim if he just talks abt relevant stuff, we can get through our syllabus in one term! lol.

'After this we're going to learn...'
'Please say Immune System.'
'... How exercise affects the control of C-V and respiratory system.'
'For people who're still looking ahead, we're going to learn...'
'Yes, this must be Immune System.'
'C-V Disease.'

AKU DEPRESSED SANGAT. And all these boring stuff will take us till half term for god's sake. Mati ku ni, I want to attend Uni now.

half term

Unproductive during half term is productive. That's the rule. And to prepare myself for the Bio Olympiad, I'm being unproductive. Sorry, I'm just trying to confuse idiots.

Azim and I went to Natural History Museum to check out the Darwin bicentenary exhibition. However, it turned out to be so bad (not the exhibition!). There was a very long queue, and the museum was so densely packed. It was nothing like the museum I went last time, when it was relatively spacious. It's as bad as the london Oxford Circus tube station during peak time.
Darwin's BIG IDEA man, no play play
That's the queue.

And we actually need an advanced ticket for this special exhibition. Sigh, so we didnt manage to get into the exhibition, and we just walked around other places, including the Souvenir shop that sold many things like gemstone and soft toys... I'll go again during Exeat. I didnt know that many non-biologists are interested in him, and so I didnt ask if u guys aka suang, chern, rue n whoever terasa wanna go, sorry.
Jgn insult wahh, ia sakai.

I forgot what that is.

Cafe Concerto twice. That's so good~~ It's seriously the best, not 'the best' that Roland keeps on saying for some reason which I will never understand , but seriously this is the best!

I watched my first English series in this half term too. Skins!!! No comment.

I have bought the ticket to Brunei. 22/3. Bring it on!!!!!!

12/2/09

What day is it today? It's.... CHARLES DARWIN'S 200TH BIRTHDAY!! Happy birthday, my salopian senior, the greatest naturalist ever, the man who revolutionised how we think!

My day began in a not-so-good way, a chapel. BBC Filming yo, no joking ni. The 'service' started with a man shrieking at the entrance, instantly arousing the curiosity to turn their head and we saw ... Charles Darwin- his characteristic white/grey beard, his hat, and his cloak.

He started talking abt his life, and urged us not to waste our gap year coz we might find something useful just like his, like wth... Then he said a good scientist needs evidence bla3.

In Bio lesson, we watched a DVD about Charles Darwin too. It's surprisingly good, but obviously we didn't manage to finish watching it in just a mere 40-min period.

In a few months time, it will be the 150th anniversary of the publication 'The Origin of Species', which caused an absolte outrage all over the world. The hardest blow of course came from the religious authorities. Portraits and comic meant to criticise Darwin were created.

In the afternoon, 2 hrs hardcore Chem Olympiad. The overall difficulty of the paper was still maintained. Some questions were pretty easy, one was awfully herrendous for Darwin's sake. lol. I have nvr seen such a difficult que in the past year Olympiad. I regret not doing Phy, coz it does concern Phy.

We-Adri, Mubin and me- then went to town. I was especially anticipating any celebration for the Darwin bicentenary, and it turned out to be a disappointment. Babi.

At night, we watched the Ingram's house play. I have to say, it's the best play ever showing in the school, better than any house plays last year, and even the school play. It's a must-watch! 'The Happiest Day of Your Life!'

Karma

'What goes up must go down...'

Well, the lyrics don't reali match the situation. Two of my best friends have received their karma, coz we have been ucaping brabis about evryone in evry situation. Racism, sexism, dwarfism, animalism, retardedism, hantamlahh wtv.

Mubin was infected by stomach flu virus (should be). In fact, one-fifth of his house, or maybe it's one-third now, is infected. The SAN, i.e. clinic, should be full of Severn Hill ppl, including Mubin, who had thrown up yesterday night after suffering from prolonged nausea.

Adri's HP laptop CRASHED!!! OMG, wth babi, palui. And he didnt save his bio coursework in any external drives. He did have the hardcopy with our teacher aka si Darwin (our codename for our bio teacher coz he does look like charles darwin. When Azim was looking at the Darwin portraits in the Darwin building aka Bio building, he saw our, not his, Bio teacher, and apparently he was amused by the similarity) <--- what a long bracket, HAHHA. cont.... so basically Adri needs to get it back from him n retype. That's so shit.

I can hear the footsteps of karma .... going away!!! I really hope so, lol, i dont wanna get my karma in london ni.

Speechless fury

WTF BABI BUDUH ULTIMATE BITCH CIBAI and the list goes on.

My teacher kuat tangan wont be here tomorrow, so we wont have him in the 1st period. Our another Maths teacher wont be here tomorrow too in the 2nd period, n he asked kuat tangan, presumably, to take over the class.

'Im going to give you a study period in the 1st period. But, a double pr will be too much, so I expect you to come and do wtv yur teacher has asked you guys to do.'

WTFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF!!!!!

We do know ur a geek/nerd, a late scholar from Oxxxxx, and an expert in games such as CS. That does NOT mean, we, who take further maths, are as geeky as you, even if we like Maths.

Stop giving us those damn boring pyp every week and expect us to finish them. Our world does not revolve around mathematics unlike you. YOU GEEKY BXXXX!

snow again...

Tbh, like Mubin, I'm a little bit bored of the snow. Mainly due to the disgusting ground covered by molten ice, a little bit solid, a little bit watery, dirty mud colour. It's so annoying when you had to walk on it as it's slippery.

Mathematicians apparently hate snow, so they have gone through the worst week ever in their life I believe. lol. My friend, Philipp, who's going to Cambridge for Maths, was so damn pissed off when he knew it was going to snow heavily and got into a state of absolute fury when he got hit by the snowball.

'I HATE snow!' He exclaimed in our maths class.
'Neither do I,' said my kuat tangan Maths teacher yg bari sasak cb for various reasons.

My Mech teacher gt hit too, and he warned that if he gt hit again, he would leave the school. This news soon spread all around the school, and everyone in the school talked about it. lol.

Snowballs, banana, apples, pears, rocks covered in snow, bare fruits i.e. not covered in snow, were thrown on school building, teachers, perspective parents who expressed their disappointments to the headmaster.

An assembly was held for the aggression occurred in and out of the school. I can't be bothered to go, but I heard what's going on from Mubin and Azim. The speech by headmaster went on for only five minutes, but it seems like the message was well delivered to the students, seems like.

'Bullying was not welcomed!" He then disappeared to behind the curtain. Silence followed and the assembly ended.

My First Theatre Trip

All SH Upper Six boys went to Wolverhampton for a theatre trip. Before we went to the theatre, we had Chinese in a restaurant named Queen. It's alright~~ Anyway, the show is EVITA, the first lady of Argentina, and it's all about her life.

It's just so amazing how they could sing so loudly, but gently. And their voices were just like loudspeaker, overwhelming the already-speaker-boosted background music!! We have sat at the worst seats, as told by my friends, but my ear was deafened by their singings.

It's just like school play and house plays, in an absolutely incomparable magnitude and impact. Yes, the impact hitting me was indescribable. Sakai brabis ku.

The first scene that amazed me was eight pillars descended from the ceiling. PILLARS!? lol, i thought theatre was like, errmmm... man carrying a few tables and chairs. Those performers were multi-talented too. They had to sing so loudly, while dancing ballroom dances; they had to jump from one spot to another, every single one of them had to do some motions simultaneously and precisely without looking around. And, they succeeded!!

I found it cool when everyone of us discussing the life of Evita during the breaktime rather than how good or poor the actings, facilities bla3 are. We were absorbed into the storyline.

Tom then told me that the way the theatre was shaped helped to amplify their voice, that's why it's so loud. Well, it's still amazing. I fall in love with theatre! He then told me West End in London has the best theatre.

Snow!!!

I can now tick off two items from my wishlist. First, snowball fight. Second, make a snowman. Awuuu kasian wahh aku inda sampat main ani last yr. Coz when it snowed in SHR, I had gone to london, and vice versa, or I was sleeping in Brunei Hall when it snowed in the morning, then the snow melted in the afternoon.

This time, omg, omg, omg, satisfied ku.

'Chiao, you look like an excited kid during Xmas,' said Will.

Yes, coz I am. I jumped up n down in Adri's room to urge him to go out to play snowball fight with me.

This was what I saw when I looked out of my window at 8am.

Moser's Library

Oldham's Hall, i.e. Adri's house

What a beautiful sight...

Saja limpang...

250 guys were attacking the girls' house. They randomly threw snowballs onto the windows and the housemistress when she came out to stop them, which of course turned out to be unsuccessful. When the girls came out, which I dunno why, the guys bellowed in deep voice while running to them, each carrying snowballs.

Snowman!!!

She's found a friend!

Manchester

Mubin Sarah Azim Nick Roland and I went to Manchester Trafford centre using train, tram and bus. What a waste of money on transport!! When we were sitting in the train, waiting for it to move, we saw Arif wandering outside our train. We thought he wanna go to Man too, so we were bellowing in disbelief how stupid a man could be, in the train. Rupanya he was going to somewhere else. lol.

Amazed by the mall, eating in Nando's, shopping bla3 and gt disappointed coz it's cheap but none fitted me. Then we went back to SHR. We would have missed the train if we didnt run from the tram to the train, as if there was an insane teenager-targeting murderer chasing after us with a riffle.

I bought a tie, that's it...

Angel descending..... Laaaaa~~~~~

Toilet!?

Have you ever seen such a staggering scene in any Nando's?

Parkinson's disease onset, if you saw it in motion.

Retards 1 and 2

Retards 3 and 4

It does smell like langsat. Not kidding in whatsoever way. Try it.

Hair Saviour

A few days ago, my hair was so damn dry and brittle. I saw split-ends on my hair and I could actually 'broke' it somewhere near the end. Thanks to the legendary Bxxx's Shampoo.

To my disgust and fury, I threw that unfinished bottlew of shampoo and used VO5 Moisture Soak Shampoo and Conditioner. Yoiii, it's my first time using a proper conditioner and the effect was instant and awesome. I could feel my hair getting softer with every use.

The Instant Saviour

Conclusion: Cheap stuff is not always good. lol. Sometimes, cheap stuffs still work pretty well!
