My First Theatre Trip

All SH Upper Six boys went to Wolverhampton for a theatre trip. Before we went to the theatre, we had Chinese in a restaurant named Queen. It's alright~~ Anyway, the show is EVITA, the first lady of Argentina, and it's all about her life.

It's just so amazing how they could sing so loudly, but gently. And their voices were just like loudspeaker, overwhelming the already-speaker-boosted background music!! We have sat at the worst seats, as told by my friends, but my ear was deafened by their singings.

It's just like school play and house plays, in an absolutely incomparable magnitude and impact. Yes, the impact hitting me was indescribable. Sakai brabis ku.

The first scene that amazed me was eight pillars descended from the ceiling. PILLARS!? lol, i thought theatre was like, errmmm... man carrying a few tables and chairs. Those performers were multi-talented too. They had to sing so loudly, while dancing ballroom dances; they had to jump from one spot to another, every single one of them had to do some motions simultaneously and precisely without looking around. And, they succeeded!!

I found it cool when everyone of us discussing the life of Evita during the breaktime rather than how good or poor the actings, facilities bla3 are. We were absorbed into the storyline.

Tom then told me that the way the theatre was shaped helped to amplify their voice, that's why it's so loud. Well, it's still amazing. I fall in love with theatre! He then told me West End in London has the best theatre.
